Quantum Theory of Consciousness

Quantum consciousness refers to several hypotheses suggesting quantum-mechanical phenomena, like entanglement and superposition, play a crucial role in consciousness, which cannot be explained by classical physics alone.

Theories include consciousness arising from quantum processes in brain structures such as microtubules, the idea that matter and consciousness are dual aspects of a single reality, and the hypothesis that the brain experiences a specific branch of a multiverse via quantum entanglement.

While these hypotheses offer intriguing possibilities, they remain largely unvalidated by empirical evidence and face significant scientific skepticism regarding the brain's ability to sustain the necessary quantum states.
